RHRP Optometry Technician

We are seeking Optometry Technicians to work with us providing dental exams and treatment to Military Service members. The position primarily involves weekend work, with occasional weekdays, in the State of _______ on an "as needed" basis.

Responsibilities include:

• Assisting the optometrist with procedures and patient care
• Taking patient histories and maintaining records
• Helping patients select suitable glasses frames
• Demonstrating lens care and maintenance
• Repairing minor eyewear issues
• Organizing the office and preparing exam rooms
• Testing visual acuity, depth perception, pressure, and pupil reflexes

Requirements:

• At least 1 year of experience as an optometric or ophthalmic technician
• Experience with visual fields, OCTs, and Fundus Photography
• Computer proficiency with word processing, databases, and spreadsheets
• Own transportation for site travel
