Independent Insurance Claims Adjuster

Culpeper, VA
Entry level, Full‑time.
OverviewWe are looking for Licensed Claims Adjusters with at least 100 claims under their belt to join Mile High Adjusters Houston. As an Independent Adjuster you will help individuals and businesses recover from unforeseen disasters while enjoying flexibility, autonomy, and competitive compensation.
Responsibilities- Investigate and assess insurance claims for storm‑related events and other property damage.
- Determine liability and recommend settlement amounts in accordance with company policies and state regulations.
- Communicate with policyholders, contractors, and other stakeholders to gather necessary information.
- Prepare detailed claim reports and maintain accurate documentation in the claims management system.
- Meet performance metrics and uphold the firm’s reputation for quality and professionalism.
- Valid Licensed Claims Adjuster certification.
- Minimum 100 claims handled independently.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail and analytical thinking.
- Ability to work independently in a fast‑paced environment.
