UVA Specialty and Same Day Care Culpeper - Endocrinology Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant - Full Time

Join UVA Health as a licensed Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant specializing in Adult Endocrinology in Culpeper, VA.

Position Highlights

  Monday - Friday, 8 am - 5 pm
• Outpatient only, 4-day workweek
• Public Service Loan Forgiveness eligible organization

Requirements

• At least 2-3 years of experience as an APP in adult endocrinology
• Responsible for assessment, management, and provision of services across various clinical settings within the scope of licensing and credentialing
• Collaborate with the healthcare team, exercise independent judgment, perform health assessments, formulate diagnoses, and interpret diagnostic studies
• Order medications, treatments, and therapies; refer to specialists as needed
• Provide patient education and participate in on-call duties
• Follow policies and maintain licensure and credentialing requirements

Minimum Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited graduate school of nursing or physician assistant program with a master's degree
• Virginia license or license eligible as an Advanced Practice Provider
• Current BLS, PALS/NRP, ACLS as required

Physical Demands

Prolonged standing, bending, reaching, repetitive motions, and lifting/pushing/pulling 50-100 lbs. May be exposed to various hazards including infectious materials.
