Endocrinology UVA Health in Culpeper, VA

UVA Health is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) with a background in Adult Endocrinology to join our growing team in Culpeper. • 4-day work week, Monday-Friday (8 am-5 pm), outpatient only.

• Work closely with our physicians, nurses, and specialists in a team-based model.

• Provide comprehensive care to adult endocrinology patients in an outpatient setting.
• Perform assessments, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and develop treatment plans.
• Prescribe medications and therapies in accordance with Virginia regulations.
• Collaborate with physicians and specialists to deliver seamless patient care.
• Educate patients and families on disease management and treatment options.
• Participate in quality improvement, professional development, and teaching opportunities.

• Experience:
  
  Minimum 2-3 years as an APP in adult endocrinology.
• Education:
  
  Graduate of an accredited NP or PA program (Master’s degree required).
• Licensure:
  Licensed (or license-eligible) in Virginia as an NP or PA. Current BLS required; ACLS/PALS/NRP as appropriate.
• Strong clinical judgment, communication skills, and commitment to patient-centered care.

• Ability to stand for extended periods, bend, and lift/push up to 100 lbs.
• May be exposed to noise, radiation, infectious disease, and other clinical settings.
