We are seeking a highly accomplished and strategic Senior Manager, Sourcing Innovation to lead and elevate procurement initiatives across the Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) lifecycle. This role serves as a key business partner to executive leadership, driving strategic sourcing, integration planning, and transformational procurement activities that deliver measurable value through M&A execution. The ideal candidate combines deep expertise in M&A sourcing strategy, supplier governance, and risk mitigation with exceptional leadership, financial acumen, and enterprise collaboration skills.
You will oversee sourcing strategies from pre-deal assessment through post-merger integration, ensuring procurement aligns with business objectives, accelerates synergy realization, and strengthens overall enterprise value.
Responsibilities M&A Strategy & ExecutionLead enterprise-wide procurement strategies for all stages of the M&A lifecycle — from due diligence through post-merger integration and value realization.
Partner with senior executives and functional leads to define sourcing priorities that align with corporate growth and transformation objectives.
Serve as a trusted advisor to leadership on procurement risks, opportunities, and synergy potential within each deal.
Conduct thorough due diligence to evaluate procurement processes, supplier contracts, and potential risks associated with the target company's supply chain.
Design and present risk mitigation and value creation strategies to executive leadership and M&A steering committees.
Establish robust supplier governance frameworks to ensure compliance, business continuity, and long‑term value protection.
Lead integration of procurement processes, technologies, and supplier ecosystems across merged entities, ensuring alignment with corporate policies and performance standards.
Partner with IT, Finance, and Legal to harmonize systems (e.g., SAP Ariba), contracts, and spend categories for efficiency and scalability.
Champion continuous improvement initiatives and procurement transformation roadmaps that enhance post‑merger operational performance.
Lead strategic supplier negotiations and performance management during transition phases, balancing cost optimization with supplier relationship continuity.
Influence and align internal stakeholders across global business units to ensure strategic procurement objectives are achieved consistently.
Develop and manage M&A procurement budgets, synergy targets, and cost optimization KPIs.
Report on value capture, integration milestones, and procurement ROI to senior management and corporate development teams.
Utilize analytics and category intelligence to drive data‑informed sourcing decisions.
Embed innovation and digital enablement into M&A procurement processes — leveraging automation, data analytics, and advanced sourcing tools.
Benchmark against industry best practices to continuously elevate procurement maturity and value delivery.
Mentor and develop team members to build organizational capability in M&A sourcing and integration management.
Minimum of 8 years of experience in procurement, with at least 4 years focused on M&A procurement or related M&A activities.
Proven success influencing executive‑level decision‑making and delivering measurable procurement‑driven value in complex deal environments.
Deep understanding of strategic sourcing, supplier management, risk assessment, and post‑merger integration.
Experience leading multi‑functional teams across Legal, Finance, Operations, and Corporate Development.
Expertise with enterprise procurement systems (SAP Ariba preferred) & analytics tools.
Strong business acumen and the ability to interpret financial data, model synergy outcomes, and align procurement to enterprise value creation.
Exceptional leadership, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
Media & Entertainment industry experience strongly preferred.
