Senior Sales Compensation Analyst, Ads Sales Incentives – Amazon Advertising
Key Responsibilities- Reconcile and analyze large datasets to ensure accurate quota allocation and performance tracking; manage end‑to‑end sales compensation processes, including revenue recognition and payout execution.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance compensation program efficiency and effectiveness; implement best practices in sales compensation.
- Serve as primary point of contact for Amazon Ads Business Units; manage communications, resolve complex compensation inquiries, handle escalations, and support sales managers and employees.
- Enforce sales incentive policies while maintaining a supportive and transparent approach; demonstrate policy enforcement and diplomacy in stakeholder interactions.
- Orchestrate complex monthly and quarterly compensation activities, including quota distribution and adjustments; align with business objectives and sales strategies.
- Handle large datasets with meticulous attention to detail; utilize strong data management skills to support accurate and timely compensation processes.
- Deliver training materials on compensation plans and processes; effectively communicate plan details and changes to relevant stakeholders.
- Apply exceptional analytical and problem‑solving abilities to address complex compensation issues and scenarios.
- Generate insightful reports and analytics to support decision‑making and provide visibility into compensation program performance.
- Stay updated on sales compensation best practices and industry trends to contribute to the ongoing evolution of the compensation program.
Validate global revenue feeds, address time‑sensitive compensation inquiries, analyze complex datasets, process territory changes, and participate in stakeholder meetings to resolve intricate cases.
Quarterly run commission calculations, validate payouts, and collaborate with business units to ensure accurate revenue and quota attribution.
Act as the trusted advisor for sales teams navigating compensation matters.

Basic Qualifications- 5+ years of Microsoft Excel experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Experience with sales CRM tools such as Salesforce or similar software
- Deep experience with sales incentive compensation programs and best practices
- Experience working within a high‑growth, technology company
- 5+ years of finance, business management and sales operations experience
- CCP or CSCP Certified
