Production Assistant

We’re growing our live broadcast schedule and are looking for a Part-Time Production Assistant to join our studio operations team. This role starts with regular weekend shifts. As our schedule evolves, scheduled hours may change, but we’re looking for someone to stay on long-term as part of our PA team, covering shifts when teammates are out.

As a PA, your main job is to keep our broadcasts live. You'll be the on-site point person in our studios during live shows. You'll open and close the studios, run pre-show checks with our remote producers, keep hosts on schedule, monitor the live streams, and handle first-line troubleshooting when something goes wrong. You'll also help out with day-to-day studio and company tasks as they come up.

• Open and close multiple studios each shift following established procedures (powering equipment, lighting, signage, climate control)
• Manage host call times: confirm hosts arrive on time, follow up with anyone running late, and give timed countdown cues before each show and host switch
• Monitor live streams (audio, video, graphics, sound effects, and host app) and flag or fix issues quickly
• Stay in constant communication with producers over Slack, and escape to the operations team when needed
• Check in on hosts during breaks to make sure they have what they need
• Complete routine show tasks, such as confirming viewer rewards in our internal dashboard
• Keep studios and shared spaces clean, organized, and stocked
• Take on additional tasks to support the studio and team as assigned

• Experience with OBS or other live streaming software is a plus
• Interest in live production, broadcast, or streaming technology
• Strong communication skills and comfortable following step-by-step instructions from remote staff
• Punctual and dependable. Our shows go live on time, every time
• Detail-oriented, proactive, and calm under pressure
• Must be available weekends; flexibility to pick up extra shifts is a strong plus (especially around the upcoming holidays)
