- Prepare and file all federal, state, and local income/franchise tax returns
- Manage estimated quarterly tax payments and annual filing obligations
- Maintain a comprehensive tax compliance calendar across multiple entities
- Monitor and respond to IRS and state tax notices and correspondence
- Research federal and state tax law changes and provide proactive guidance
- Identify tax savings opportunities related to entity structure, credits, and deductions
- Advise leadership on tax implications of future growth, expansion, or restructuring
- Support long‑term cash planning and tax forecasting initiatives
- Audit current tax compliance workflows, legal entity structure, and documentation to identify risk or inefficiencies
- Recommend and implement process improvements for stronger tax governance and regulatory alignment
- Partner with Legal & Compliance to ensure contracts, business initiatives, and entities are structured tax‑efficiently
- Collaborate with Accounting and FP&A to align tax planning with financial close, forecasting, and capital strategy
- Coordinate with executive leadership and external auditors to support audits, strategic decisions, and audit readiness
- Establish strong internal controls and documentation standards to support long‑term compliance infrastructure
- Active CPA license required
- 5+ years of corporate or multi‑entity tax experience (public or private)
- Strong knowledge of U.S. federal, state, and local income tax regulations
- Proven ability to manage full‑cycle compliance while contributing to strategy
- Excellent communication and cross‑department collaboration skills

Salary for this position can start around $140,000 annually with potential for higher compensation based on experience and demonstrated expertise.
