LHH is seeking an experienced Payroll Specialist to join our client's team on a 6+ month contract in Culver City, CA. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with strong payroll processing skills and hands-on experience using Workday.
Responsibilities- Process multi-state payroll accurately and on time using Workday
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations
- Maintain payroll records and resolve discrepancies promptly
- Collaborate with HR and Finance teams to support payroll-related inquiries
- Assist with audits and reporting as needed
- 3+ years of payroll experience, preferably in a corporate environment
- Proficiency in Workday payroll systems
- Strong knowledge of payroll regulations and compliance
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
