VP Product Marketing

Role

Description:

The VP of Product Marketing will be responsible for defining and executing the go-to-market strategy for Market Cast's suite of research products and services. This role involves leading a team to develop compelling product positioning, messaging, and launch plans. The VP will collaborate closely with product management, sales, and marketing teams to drive product adoption and revenue growth. Furthermore, they will be instrumental in understanding market trends and customer needs to inform product development and marketing strategies.

  • Develop Product Marketing Strategies –Craft comprehensive product marketing strategies that align with overall business objectives, focusing on market segmentation, competitive analysis, and value proposition development. This involves identifying key target audiences and creating tailored messaging to resonate with their specific needs. The strategies should encompass all stages of the product lifecycle, from launch to maturity, ensuring consistent communication and engagement. Regularly evaluate and refine strategies based on performance metrics and market feedback to maximize impact.
  • Lead Product Launches –Orchestrate successful product launches by coordinating cross-functional teams, including product management, sales, and marketing communications. This includes defining launch objectives, developing launch plans, and executing marketing campaigns to generate awareness and drive adoption. Ensure all launch materials are compelling, accurate, and aligned with the product positioning. Track and measure the success of product launches, providing insights for future improvements.
  • Define Product Positioning and Messaging –Develop clear, concise, and compelling product positioning and messaging that differentiates Market Cast's offerings from competitors. This includes identifying key benefits, features, and value propositions that resonate with target audiences. Ensure consistent messaging across all marketing channels and customer touchpoints. Regularly review and update messaging to reflect market changes and product enhancements.
  • Conduct Market Research and Analysis –Conduct thorough market research to understand customer needs, market trends, and competitive landscape. Analyze data to identify opportunities and inform product development and marketing strategies. Stay abreast of industry developments and emerging technologies to anticipate future trends. Share insights with cross-functional teams to drive informed decision-making.
  • Create Marketing Content –Oversee the creation of high-quality marketing content, including website copy, brochures, case studies, white papers, and blog posts. Ensure all content is aligned with product messaging and brand guidelines. Work with subject matter experts to develop thought leadership pieces that showcase Market Cast's expertise.
