ACCESS, a network of multi‑specialty practices located throughout the SoCal area, provides 24/7 ER and specialty care to the surrounding communities. Our departments have a busy and varied caseload with a high number of referrals and emergency cases. Our other specialties include Avian and Exotic medicine, critical care, cardiology, oncology, internal medicine, interventional radiology, endoscopy, surgery, orthopedic surgery with a joint replacement center, nephrology with IHD, CRRT, Plasma Exchange, and SCUF available, neurology, and urology.

We also have a highly trained and skilled support staff who are dedicated to ensuring the success of our services, filled with the best and brightest, including multiple VTS and Technician Trainers! To provide the best care possible, we stay apprised of innovations and utilize an extensive array of cutting‑edge diagnostic, therapeutic, and monitoring equipment.

Job Overview

ACCESS Los Angeles is looking for an Urgent Care Avian and Exotics Veterinarian to join us as part of the Thrive Pet Healthcare community. As an Urgent Care Veterinarian, you’ll have access to an expansive network of on‑staff specialists and medical leaders who are there to champion you and your medicine as well as to discuss cases and address concerns. You’ll also work with highly trained emergency staff and have advanced tools and treatments at your fingertips.

Urgent Care Hours

Wednesday - Sunday 12:00 pm - 10:00 pm

Experience & Skills Requirements
  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) or equivalent degree required
  • State Veterinary Board License and must be in good standing for the state in which they intend to be hired, prior to their start date.
  • Active DEA license or DEA licensure eligible.
