Hiring Full‑Time Emergency Veterinarians
You’ll provide excellent, in‑the‑moment care when patients need it most. You’ll hone your ability to triage and assess critical needs – with a team to back you up with support – and lean on our community to shift schedule or role.
The ideal candidate would be willing and able to care for sick and injured patients who arrive on an emergency basis, as well as manage hospitalized patients. This role requires the ER DVM to assess patients, diagnose illnesses, develop treatment plans, and oversee technicians who are carrying out these plans. The ER DVM will also perform surgeries, provide critical care, and ensure a high level of service for all patients in our emergency department.
Experience& Skills Requirements
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM / VMD) or equivalent degree required.
- State Veterinary Board License – active and in good standing for the state of intended employment, obtained prior to start date.
- Active DEA license or DEA licensure eligibility.
- Experience in emergency medicine including work experience, small animal rotating or emergency internships is strongly recommended.

Compensation negotiable based on credentials and experience with an annual PROSAL full‑time range starting at $180,000‑$250,000/year, with a sign‑on bonus up to $70,000 and up to $30,000 relocation assistance. The actual salary offered will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
