Job Description

As a Security Officer – Telecom Patrol Specialist in Culver City, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to deter security‑related incidents and create a welcoming environment. This is a driving post, so you will operate a vehicle as part of your patrol duties.

What You’ll Do

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security‑related procedures, following site‑specific policies, and responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Report any unusual activity, security‑related incidents, or maintenance needs observed during patrols.
• Collaborate with team members and client representatives to address security‑related matters and support a secure environment.
• Assist with access control by verifying credentials and monitoring entry and exit points as required by site policies.
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of daily activities, incidents, and observations as required by Allied Universal and client protocols.

Minimum Requirements

• A valid driver’s license in the state where the job is located.
• At least 1 year of security‑related experience.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• CPR and/or first aid certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
