• You will draw from your deep and broad technical expertise to influence architectures of your team and partner teams, provide leadership on complex technical issues.
• You will help shape the roadmap for, and deliver some of our most strategic technical projects.
• You will use business and operational metrics to gain insights and help drive decisions.
• You will work with product managers and other engineering leaders with Prime Video and other parts of Amazon to identify the right customer and business opportunities, and then collaborate with your team to find the right technical solutions for them.
• You will be responsible for driving and implementing complex systems, operations, and goals.
• You will work closely with engineers to scale our royalty calculation engine as we continue to launch new features and reach more PV customers.

Financial Systems ensures every purchase made by our millions of customers is tracked, accounted for, and the resulting royalties calculated and paid to our content and device partners. We own and build the technology that manages this complex process s organization is part of Prime Video’s Commerce Platform whose overarching mission is to enable our customers to successfully complete their transactions and access their favorite content on any device worldwide.

• 3+ years of non‑internship professional software development experience
• 3+ years of non‑internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
• 3+ years of designing and developing large‑scale, multi‑tiered, multi‑threaded, embedded or distributed software applications, tools, systems, and services using: C#, C++, Java, or Perl experience
• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent
• Can communicate effectively with all levels of the organization
• Experience with financial or accounting software and processes
