Main duties of the jobThe right candidate will be sensitive and caring with good listening and communication skills, and will be able to use their assessment skills and techniques to provide complementary therapy intervention appropriate to the patient’s condition, cancer and its treatment. You will need to be able to provide and receive complex and sensitive patient information to and from the wider multidisciplinary team.
You will manage your own caseload with support from the wider team, and will be able to work without supervision. You will need to liaise with nursing and medical teams to establish which patients are suitable for complementary therapies.
