Director, Family Birth Center; RN

About the Director, Family Birth Center (RN) Position:

Nealy Pierce has been engaged by a growing 150+ bed community hospital near Cumberland, Maryland to recruit a Director, Family Birth Center (RN) to join its leadership team.

In this role, you will provide the strategic and visionary direction of the department, serve as a mentor to the nursing team, ensure regulatory compliance, build and maintain positive physician relationships, manage the department budget, and ensure the highest level of quality and patient safety is provided to the community.

• We are offering up to a $140k annual base salary + sign on bonus / relocation assistance
• NON-PROFIT, growing 150+ bed community hospital that has served its community for over 50 years
• The Birth Center delivers over 950 babies annually and the Director will manage a team of ~28 FTE's including an Educator and team of Clinical Coordinators

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing required (BSN) / Master's preferred
• RN Active License required
• OB Certification is a plus
• Five (5)+ years of recent Labor and Delivery clinical nursing experience
• Three (3)+ years of Labor and Delivery leadership experience highly desired - must have direct experience leading a team
• Able to lead by example
• Possess a dynamic and inspirational leadership style
• Focused on continued education and professional growth of staff
• Proven track record of success in leading and mentoring a team
