• Safe work practices, patient teaching, supporting new staff, continuous development
• Applying the nursing process, improving quality of care, identifying opportunities for quality improvement

• 0-2 years experience; BSN preferred
• Good clinical judgment, critical thinking, and problem‑solving abilities
• Physical stamina for frequent walking, standing, lifting, and positioning of patients

• UPMC‑approved national certification preferred
• Current licensure as a Registered Professional Nurse either in the state where the facility is located or in a state covered by a licensure compact agreement with the state where the facility is located
• Basic Life Support (BLS) or Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
• Graduate nurses will have 120 days from graduation to obtain the RN license
