Description
The full time Parts Driver delivers parts and equipment to customers and vendors. This position interacts with the Parts Manager, Parts Sales, and customers/vendors daily.

- Safely transport vehicles
- Verify condition of inventory
- Verify and deliver paperwork
- Report any issues to supervisor
- Greet every customer, every day
- Maintain high ethical standards when dealing with customers, co-workers and vendors
- Put safety first. Adhere to all Safety Policies, Procedures and Personal Protective Equipment standards
- Pick up parts and equipment from customers and vendors, to be coordinated with the Parts Manager, Parts Sales Consultant, and Parts Counter people
- Deliver parts and equipment to customers and vendors
- Complete a log at the time of delivery and request recipient's signature
- Unload truck at the end of shift. Turn in all paperwork and undelivered parts
- Be responsible for the basic upkeep of the delivery vehicle: check oil with each fill-up and ensure vehicle is in good working order
- Follow all Company safety policies and practices and immediately report any and all accidents to Manager and Human Resources
- Maintain a safe and clean workspace, as well as ensuring the entire facility is orderly, clean and free of hazards
Qualifications:
Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information. Valid driver's license in state of residence and a good driving record. Ability to use computer and calculator. Will be trained on parts department's computer inventory system. Ability to drive safely. Ability to communicate well orally and in writing with customers, vendors, and other contacts. Professional personal appearance.
This is a physically demanding position. The Parts Driver will load, unload and drive company provided delivery vehicles each shift lifting parts weighting 75 pounds several times a day and occasionally up to 100 pounds. Will be required to wear a dealership uniform at all times.
