Seasonal Part Time Test Center Administrator

Located in Cumberland, RI, the Test Center Administrator (TCA) is the face of Prometric at test centers worldwide. TCAs verify candidate identification, monitor exams, and uphold the highest standards for exam integrity.

• Maintain expert knowledge of test center policies, practices, and procedures
• Greet examinees and verify identification
• Perform required security checks using wands
• Continuously monitor candidates during exams
• Report and resolve candidate issues with urgency
• Maintain secure environment and materials at all times
• Ensure every candidate receives a fair and comfortable testing experience
• Report any occurrences outside company guidelines
• Represent Prometric’s vision, mission, and values

• High school diploma or equivalent required; college experience a plus
• Minimum of one year of in‑person customer service experience required (e.g., call center, retail, restaurant)
• Must be 18 years of age or older

• Professional and effective communication with candidates and coworkers
• Accurate written reporting and correspondence
• Ability to multi‑task and handle tools and equipment
• Proficiency with basic computer programs (MS Office, Outlook, web browsing)

• Lift up to 40 pounds; bend, stoop, and move through tight spaces
• Remain stationary for extended periods while administering exams
• Escort candidates through the testing room every 8–10 minutes

Part time – hours vary. The site operates Monday through Saturday 7 am to 6 pm;
Saturday availability required. Occasional evening hours and possible Sunday hours. Ideal candidates are willing to work a variety of shifts between 7 am and 10 pm and are flexible with scheduling.
