Gas Supply Planning Analyst

Join our team as a Gas Supply Planning Analyst, reporting to the Manager of Gas Supply Planning & Analytics. The role executes procurement and supply transactions, develops gas supply data models, and supports portfolio optimization, regulatory filings and internal analysis.

• Execute and manage daily, monthly, and seasonal gas supply procurement transactions.
• Apply mathematical and analytical methods to assess commercial arrangements for pipeline, storage and peaking capacity procurement.
• Analyze large datasets to identify patterns, assess data quality, and communicate findings.
• Maintain and update complex spreadsheet models.
• Provide specialized analysis for internal and external data requests.
• Develop customized reports using the gas management system.
• Support portfolio optimization through spreadsheet analysis.
• Provide analytical support for regulatory submissions (LROP, GCR) to the Rhode Island Public Utilities Commission and Division of Public Utilities and Carriers.
• Sponsor and support testimony and respond to discovery regarding submitted data analysis.
• Monitor gas market dynamics and regulatory developments affecting supply planning and procurement objectives.
• Comply with all company policies and standards.

• Bachelor's degree in data analytics, econometrics, quantitative finance, mathematics, or another analytical discipline.
