Senior Civil Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Senior Civil Engineer to support the growth of an established engineering consulting organization. This role is ideal for a technically strong civil/site engineer looking to expand into client relationship management, project leadership, and business development while continuing to leverage their engineering expertise.

Working remotely from Rhode Island
, you will collaborate with internal engineering teams and leadership to support land development projects, build client relationships, and expand the organization’s regional presence.

• Lead and support civil/site design, grading, stormwater management, and land development projects.
• Prepare and review engineering plans and design documents using Civil 3D.
• Serve as a technical resource for clients, municipalities, and project stakeholders.
• Collaborate with internal engineering and environmental teams to deliver quality project solutions.
• Build and maintain client relationships and help identify new project opportunities.
• Support regional growth, proposals, and business development initiatives.

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• 8+ years of experience in civil engineering, site design, or land development.
• P.E. license.
• Strong experience with grading, civil/site design, and Civil 3D.
• Knowledge of stormwater management, drainage, and permitting requirements.
• Excellent communication and client relationship skills.
• Self-motivated and comfortable working independently in a remote environment.
• Interest in combining technical engineering work with client engagement and business development.
