An established company in Rhode Island is seeking a dynamic and experienced Human Resource Manager to lead the charge in developing new processes and spearheading the creation of a new HR department. This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned HR professional with at least 10 years of HR management experience to make a significant impact within a growing organization.
Highlights of the position and company:- Be a Leader: Take ownership of building an HR department from the ground up.
- Collaborative Environment: Work cross-functionally with different departments to enhance HR initiatives.
- Competitive Compensation: $105,000 - $110,000/year + annual bonus with full benefits.

- HR Department Development:
Establish and refine HR policies, procedures, and best practices. - Talent Acquisition & Onboarding:
Oversee recruiting, hiring, and onboarding processes to ensure seamless integration of new employees. - Employee Relations:
Serve as a trusted resource for employees and management, handling conflict resolution and ensuring a positive workplace culture. - Benefits Administration:
Manage employee benefits programs, ensuring compliance and competitive offerings. - Payroll & Auditing:
Oversee payroll processing and audits to ensure accuracy and efficiency. - Safety Training & Compliance:
Develop and administer safety training programs in alignment with industry standards and regulations. - Cross-functional collaboration:
Partner with leadership across departments to align HR strategies with business objectives.
- 10+ years of HR management experience with a proven track record of leadership.
- Strong knowledge of HR laws, compliance, benefits administration, and employee relations.
- Experience in developing HR processes and implementing new strategies.
- Ability to work autonomously while collaborating effectively across teams.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
