Warehouse Associate, Material Handler, General Labor
Spherion is seeking a reliable, self-motivated Warehouse Associate to join our client's team in Cumberland, RI. This role requires an individual who can work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment. The candidate will be responsible for packing products, maintaining workspace order, and ensuring daily operations run smoothly.
Responsibilities- Accurately handle and pack items according to specifications and safety guidelines.
- Work independently without continuous supervision to keep up with daily workload and task deadlines.
- Clock in/out daily using the facility's timekeeping system for weekly hour reporting.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Perform additional general warehouse duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Working hours:
8:30 AM - 5:00 PM
- Previous experience in independent, autonomous production or packing roles.
- Familiarity with inventory flow and basic warehouse safety protocols.
High School
Experience1-4 years
Qualifications- Prior warehouse, packing, or light industrial experience.
- Excellent focus, self-direction, and task-management skills.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift materials throughout an 8-hour shift.
- Clear communication and ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
