Business Advisory Senior

Salary: £32,000 – £42,000 (depending on level and experience)

Job Type: Full-time/Part-time, Hybrid Working

About Us

This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing Business Advisory team within a top-tier accountancy practice based in Bristol. This role is perfect for a motivated individual looking to build a varied and valuable skill set across accounts preparation, tax, and advisory services. You'll work with a wide range of entrepreneurial clients across multiple industries, supporting their growth and helping them navigate financial challenges.

Responsibilities

• Prepare financial statements and year-end accounts for a diverse portfolio of clients
• Support the preparation of management accounts, forecasts, and financial projections
• Complete personal and business tax computations and VAT returns
• Provide bookkeeping services, including transaction processing and expense summaries
• Assist with company setups and general business administrative support
• Analyse income and expenditure data to assist in decision-making and reporting
• Support and mentor junior colleagues within the team
• Liaise with clients to ensure timely and accurate delivery of information

Requirements

• Part-qualified or newly qualified AAT / ACCA / ACA (or equivalent)
• Previous experience in a UK accountancy practice
• Proficient in cloud accounting platforms (e.g. Xero, Quick Books) and accounting/tax software
• Strong Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
• Proactive and confident, with a collaborative, team-first approach
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage workload effectively
