Bodyshop Prepper

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Bodyshop Prepper to join a dedicated team based in Barking, Greater London. This is an excellent opportunity for a professional looking to advance their career within a reputable automotive bodyshop environment. The successful Prepper will play a vital role in preparing vehicles to the highest standard before painting and finishing.

• Competitive basic salary range of £35k - £42k
• Standard working hours Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm
• Overtime opportunities
• Stable 40-hour week with regular hours
• Opportunities for career progression within a growing workshop

• Preparing vehicles for painting by masking, sanding, and priming
• Ensuring all vehicles meet quality standards before the painting process
• Maintaining a clean and safe work environment
• Assisting the team with other bodyshop tasks as necessary
• Advising on repair procedures to ensure efficiency and quality

• Proven experience working as a Bodyshop Prepper or similar role
• Knowledge of vehicle preparation techniques and tools
• Strong attention to detail and high standards of workmanship
• Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
• Full UK driving licence preferred but not essential
