Textile Print Designer – Marks & Spencer

Marks & Spencer has announced a strategic recruitment initiative to find an experienced Textile Print Designer for its dynamic Homeware team. This crucial appointment is designed to accelerate the company’s Kitchens and Home vision, driving an inspiring, trend‑led offering that meets the evolving demands of modern consumers while championing ethical and sustainable design practices.

The newly appointed Print Designer will play a pivotal role in creating on‑trend print and pattern designs that elevate the product range and reinforce a strong, progressive brand identity. By translating complex customer insights into commercially successful designs, the successful candidate will push creative boundaries and directly influence the success of the broader homeware category.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate closely with buying, merchandising, and product development teams to ensure that all concepts are executed flawlessly from inception to launch.
  • Maintain consistently high standards, managing prints through the full product development process to deliver confident statements that align with seasonal briefs.
  • Leverage industry‑standard design software and a deep understanding of manufacturing processes to deliver designs that meet production requirements.
  • Apply proactive curiosity regarding emerging technologies, such as artificial intelligence, to explore innovative design solutions.
  • Support a hybrid working model by operating from the office three days a week to stay connected to customers and foster a supportive creative environment.
