Position Overview

Leeds, UK – Asda is currently seeking an experienced and visionary Home Textiles Designer to join its dedicated team at Asda House on a full‑time, fixed‑term contract.

• Create and develop trend‑led, commercial product ranges that meet the evolving requirements of the modern consumer while upholding the company’s commitment to ethical and sustainable retail practices.
• Take full accountability for the design critical path of the home textiles department, ensuring the timely delivery of samples and overseeing the entire product development process from initial concept through to final manufactured product.
• Navigate complex supply chains and drive meaningful change while maintaining aesthetic appeal and commercial viability.
• Align seasonal trends with the brand DNA, champion the product vision, inspire category team members and wider design peers, and build robust external relationships with supply partners.

• Extensive design experience within a comparable business.
• Strong technical proficiency using the Adobe Creative Suite.
• Strategic thinker with a proactive, solution‑oriented approach.
• Meticulous attention to detail and a passion for the product.
• Keen eye for market‑leading trends, confident verbalisation of opinions, and strong presentation skills to engage and inspire commercial peers.
