Brand Design Lead

Overview

Nash powers the logistics infrastructure behind some of the most recognizable brands in commerce, including Walmart, Urban Outfitters, and 7‑Eleven, along with platforms like Shopify and Toast. Our platform unifies decisioning, execution, and capacity into a single programmable platform, enabling real‑time coordination of fleets, couriers, gig workers, and autonomous systems.

We are hiring our first dedicated Brand Designer to craft, shape, and build the visual identity of the platform that is becoming foundational to modern commerce. You will report directly to our Chief Growth Officer and work alongside the CEO, CTO, and a senior cross‑functional team across product, engineering, and growth.

Brand design at Nash is A.I.

-native. We look for a designer who integrates tools such as Claude, Cursor, Figma Make, Midjourney, and Runway into their workflow, using A.I. to accelerate outcomes while maintaining a human, authentic touch.

• Translate, define, and evolve the new Nash brand strategy into a complete, living visual system: identity applications, motion principles, photography direction, illustration style, and typography in use.
• Design and build the marketing site in Figma and Webflow; own landing pages, campaign pages, product launch moments, and the visual story at events like NRF, Manifest, and Shoptalk.
• Bring the Nash visual language to life through motion: site interactions, product reveals, social, keynote, and trade show experiences.
• Own the visual layer of the demand engine: pitch decks, one-pagers, customer‑facing PDFs, partner materials, and assets that help close deals.
• Prototype quickly using A.I. tools to compress the loop from idea to artifact.
• Ensure every design has a human, authentic finish while using A.I. for rapid iteration.
• Build installations and real‑world experiences that are tangible and engaging.
• Set the bar for craft across the company and mentor the team on effective A.I. tool usage.
• Collaborate with engineering to ship brand expressions in product.
• Contribute to the brand system: patterns, components, prompts, and rituals that scale Nash’s presence everywhere.

• 6+ years of experience in brand or product design, with shipped work that demonstrates strong craft across identity, web, motion, and campaign.
• Has owned a brand or a major brand evolution at a high‑growth technology company, and can discuss the decisions and tradeoffs behind it.
• Active, daily use of LLMs and A.I. prototyping tools such as Claude Code/Claude Cowork and Replit as part of the design workflow.
• Fluent in Figma and Webflow; comfortable in After Effects and Illustrator; curious about emerging tools.
• Systems thinker who can hold the whole brand while obsessing over the kerning of a single headline.
• Strong, clearly communicated opinions, updated quickly when evidence changes.
• Comfortable working alongside engineers and operators on functional design deliverables.
• Bonus: built a marketing site end to end in Webflow at production scale; shipped motion work live on a homepage or keynote; prior experience designing for B2B platforms, infrastructure, or logistics; released own side project using A.I. prototyping tools.
