Architectural Technologist
Location:
West Sussex
Salary: £35,000 - £40,000
An established and creative architectural practice based in West Sussex is looking to recruit an Architectural Technologist to become part of its friendly and supportive team. The studio is known for delivering innovative, user-focused schemes across a variety of sectors including residential, education, healthcare, and leisure developments.

- Producing and coordinating detailed technical drawings, specifications, and construction packages
- Supporting projects through all technical stages while liaising with consultants, contractors, and external stakeholders
- Assisting with planning applications, BIM coordination, and preparation of construction information
- Ensuring all work complies with current UK Building Regulations and industry standards
- Collaborating closely with architects and the wider design team to achieve high-quality project delivery
- Maintaining accurate technical documentation and supporting internal quality assurance procedures
- Preparing schedules, visual materials, and presentation documents where required
- Degree or qualification in Architectural Technology or a related discipline
- Previous experience producing technical documentation within an architectural practice
- Strong working knowledge of Revit
- Sound understanding of UK Building Regulations, construction detailing, and building systems
- Ability to prepare accurate, coordinated, and well-presented technical drawings and specifications
- Excellent communication and organisational skills with a collaborative approach
- Self-motivated, proactive, and committed to delivering high-quality technical solutions
