Considering a PGCE and looking to gain classroom experience? Confident leading a classroom and supporting young people?

Academics is working with a network of secondary schools across Cheshire East, including areas like Crewe and Sandbach, who are seeking enthusiastic Classroom Supervisors to deliver pre-prepared lessons on a flexible, part-time, ad-hoc basis to suit your schedule. This is an excellent opportunity for graduates, aspiring teachers, or those experienced in working with young people.

• Supervise KS3–KS4 classes and deliver pre-set work
• Maintain a calm, focused classroom environment
• Follow behaviour and safeguarding policies
• Support students and provide basic feedback to staff

• Confident classroom presence and strong communication skills
• At least 2 months’ UK experience working with young people
• Positive behaviour management and relationship-building skills
• Flexible, reliable, and proactive attitude
• Enhanced DBS (or willingness to apply)

• Daily rates of £95–£100, paid weekly (dependent on experience & client rate)
• Flexible local work across multiple secondary schools
• Ongoing support from a dedicated consultant
• Referral scheme — earn up to £125 for every successful recommendation
• An excellent pathway into teaching or education-based careers
