Kenton Black are recruiting for a permanent Site Engineer position based in Aberdeen, Scotland. Our client, a major Tier 1 national main contractor with an outstanding reputation for delivering complex civil engineering and infrastructure projects, is seeking a skilled and motivated Site Engineer to support ongoing works across the region. • Set out works in accordance with drawings, specifications, and project requirements
• Carry out site surveys, quality checks, and as-built records
• Support the management of subcontractors and ensure works are delivered to programme
• Maintain accurate site documentation, including ITPs, RAMS, and daily records
• Ensure all engineering activities comply with company and industry standards
• Assist with short-term planning, sequencing, and coordination of site operations
• Promote and uphold excellent health & safety practices across the project
• Liaise with project managers, design teams, and client representatives

• Proven experience as a Site Engineer within civil engineering or infrastructure
• Strong technical knowledge of setting out, QA processes, and site documentation
• Proficiency with GPS, total stations, and digital surveying equipment
• Excellent communication, organisation, and problem-solving skills
• CSCS card (Engineer level) required; SSSTS/SMSTS and First Aid advantageous
• Degree or HNC/HND in Civil Engineering or related discipline
• Full UK driving licence
