Access Talent Group are recruiting for a large international design consultancy in multiple Yorkshire-based offices. Our client is looking for a strong Chartered or near-chartered Principal Civil Engineer with a focus on the water sector within the wastewater sector.

This consultancy is seeking a near chartered or chartered Civil Engineer who has a wastewater background with detailed design experience. The role involves projects from feasibility through detailed design and handover to the client. You will work on schemes within water frameworks, including Thames, Welsh, and Severn Trent water frameworks on asset and wastewater pipeline projects. The employee-owned consultancy seeks someone who can lead projects and manage an efficient team.

There is an exciting mega pipeline project pipeline of work.

Experience

• Technical design experience within pipeline and pump station projects
• Experience in feasibility, outline and detailed design phases of water and sewer rising pressurised pipeline projects
• Understand and ability to design gravity sewers
• Sound commercial knowledge with fee proposals, reports and client meetings; ability to coordinate and manage teams, program management and preparation
• Experience (not essential) of NEC Contracts and knowledge of CDM regulations
• Design experience in pipelines hydraulics, with strong knowledge of GIS and 3D CAD software packages
