Your New Employer

This is your opportunity to join a globally respected energy solutions provider that delivers cutting-edge, grid-connected systems across the UK and Europe. Known for delivering some of the most technically complex energy storage and power infrastructure projects, the company specialises in turnkey solutions for utility-scale clients. With expanding demand and a strong pipeline of UK projects, they are looking to grow their commercial engineering team with a junior engineer who’s eager to develop their expertise in tendering and grid-connected infrastructure.

Your New Role

As a Tendering Engineer, you’ll support the preparation of technical bids and proposals for grid-connected infrastructure projects, including battery storage, substations, and other utility-scale systems. You’ll work closely with experienced engineers and commercial teams to review client specifications, support system design layouts, and contribute to proposal documentation. You’ll gain exposure to grid compliance considerations, DNO interfaces, and EPC coordination across early-stage project development.

This is an ideal stepping stone into large-scale energy project delivery, combining both technical and commercial learning.

Your Background

You’ll be degree-qualified in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems, or a related discipline, and have at least 1 year of experience supporting bids, tenders, or proposals for infrastructure projects connected to the grid. Whether from a DNO, contractor, EPC, or consultancy background, you’ll have a working understanding of what grid compliance means in practice and how to interpret technical specifications. You’re motivated to learn, detail-oriented, and comfortable collaborating across departments.

In Return

You’ll join an internationally respected organisation with a strong technical backbone and supportive team culture. You’ll gain practical experience working on large, complex grid-connected projects and receive ongoing training to help develop your career toward senior engineering or project delivery roles. The company offers a competitive salary, flexible working options, and the opportunity to work on some of the most impactful energy infrastructure projects in the UK and beyond.
