**** The opportunity
** The Substation Project Management team seeking an enthusiastic and driven
** Graduate Project Manager
** to support the planning, execution, and closing of various energy projects within HITACHI ENERGY UK LIMITED.
This role offers a fantastic opportunity to develop project management skills within a leading global technology and energy company.**(Also note we are unable to provide visa sponsorship for this position)
**** How you'll make an impact
*** Assist senior project managers in developing project plans, schedules, and budgets.
* Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and propose mitigation strategies.
* Support the coordination of project resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials.
* Communicate regularly with stakeholders, both internal and external, providing updates on project status.
* Help prepare and maintain project documentation, reports, and presentations.
* Participate in project meetings, taking minutes and tracking action items.
* Contribute to the identification and implementation of process improvements within project delivery.
* Ensure adherence to company policies, safety standards, and quality requirements.
** Your background:
*** Bachelor's degree (2:1 or higher) or equivalent experience in Engineering, Project Management, or a related technical field.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
* A keen interest in the energy sector and sustainable technologies.
* Prior internship or work experience in a project-related role is desirable but not essential.
* Right to work in the UK.
