Engineering Surveyor

What Are We Looking For?

Our Integrated Asset Management team in Cumbernauld is looking for an Engineering Surveyor to join us on a permanent basis to support project delivery across Scotland. The position requires flexibility on working location and accommodation will be provided by RSE.

• Act as the primary site engineering specialist, liaising between sub‑contractors and internal design and delivery teams.
• Lead and oversee quality control on construction sites.
• Contribute to the management of construction works.
• Process survey data and produce drawings in CAD software.
• Produce accurate and timely reports for the Design & Delivery management teams.
• Locate utilities and buried services.
• Support the survey team with other duties as required.
• Support training and development of junior team members.

• HNC or above in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• Keen willingness to learn and develop.
• Able to work in various locations across Scotland and the North of England.
• Good time management, with the ability to multitask, plan, and organise day‑to‑day workloads within a busy environment.
• Full UK Driving Licence.

• Laser scan surveys and data processing.
• Drone surveys.
• GPR / EML locators.
• Experience with N4CE / Civil3D / Trimble Business Centre software packages.
