Audit Manager

An exciting opportunity to join a forward-thinking accountancy firm dedicated to helping businesses grow and succeed. Working closely with clients to provide clear, proactive advice across audit, tax, and advisory services. With a strong understanding of the local market and a commitment to building lasting relationships.

• Take ownership of a portfolio of clients, maintaining a high standard of service and acting as a key point of contact
• Oversee and support the management of team portfolios, contributing to effective workflow planning and resource allocation
• Deliver against agreed revenue and profitability targets
• Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships
• Support the development of the firm’s people strategy by mentoring, coaching, and inspiring junior team members

• Manage a portfolio of audit clients, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery of audit assignments
• Prepare and review statutory accounts and corporation tax computations/returns for limited companies
• Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards (IFRS/UK GAAP)
• Provide practical advice to clients on regulatory matters, including tax, VAT, UK legal requirements, and principles of good governance
• Support Partners on ad hoc assignments and projects as required

• Professionally qualified (ACA, ACCA, CA or equivalent)
• Strong working knowledge of IFRS and/or UK GAAP
• Proven experience managing audit clients across a range of industries
• Demonstrated ability to coach, mentor, and develop junior team members
• Strong commercial awareness and client relationship management skills
• Experience managing multiple assignments and meeting deadlines effectively
• Confidence in dealing directly with senior stakeholders and business owners
