The role involves working directly under the supervision of licensed Speech Language Pathologists to assist in the delivery of therapy services to clients with speech and language disorders. The hourly pay for this position ranges from $40 to $50, depending on experience and qualifications.

As an SLPA, you will play a vital role in assessing patients, implementing treatment plans, and tracking progress in a variety of settings, including schools and clinics.

• Assist licensed Speech Language Pathologists in conducting assessments and evaluations.
• Implement treatment plans designed by the Speech Language Pathologist.
• Provide therapy sessions to enhance communication skills.
• Monitor and document progress of patients accurately.
• Support families with education on treatment strategies.
• Collaborate with other professionals to ensure coordinated care.
• Participate in continuous professional development activities to stay current in the field.
