Job Title
Staff Nurse – Ward 112 Inpatient Haematology (36 hour position) – Fixed term 11‑month contract.
OverviewWe have a vacancy for a full‑time Staff Nurse in Ward 112 Haematology Inpatients. The unit provides highly specialised care for patients with a range of haematological conditions, including high‑intensity chemotherapy, stem cell transplantation, supportive and holistic care, and acute unscheduled care. The team is friendly, supportive and offers excellent opportunities for professional and personal development.
Responsibilities- Provide a high standard of person‑centred care to individuals.
- Work 12‑hour shifts, including day and night duty.
- Forward‑thinking approach to change management.
- Registered Nurse (UK) or equivalent.
- Experience in haematology/oncology desirable but not essential.
- Any candidate not currently on the SACT register must undertake the SACT chemotherapy module – training, funding and support will be provided.

Additional InformationFrom 1/4/26, the Agenda for Change full‑time working week will be reduced from 37 to 36 hours per week. Part‑time hours will be reduced pro‑rata. Hourly rates will be increased so that pay is not affected.
