Overview

Tezlom Healthcare Agency are currently recruiting for experienced, compassionate and reliable Care Assistants in Cumbernauld and surrounding areas to provide the highest quality care and support to our clients within a range of various nursing or care home settings.

As a Tezlom Agency Care Assistant, you will be required to assist residents with all aspects of personal care activities such as washing, personal hygiene, dressing and assisting with meals and updating records. You will be caring and attentive with the skills to build strong and trusting relationships and promote the residents’ independence, choice, dignity and respect by delivering the very best standards of care.

This role is ideal for experienced Care Assistants looking for anything from 1-2 shifts per week or up to full time hours. Shifts are generally 8am-8pm or 8pm-8am. Some shift times may vary.

Tezlom Agency Care Assistants can earn £12.60-£13.25 per hour, being paid weekly on a Friday.

Previous experience of working with particular care groups such as frail & elderly, dementia and learning disabilities is essential.

• Assist residents with all aspects of personal care activities (washing, personal hygiene, dressing) and assist with meals; update records as required.
• Build strong, trusting relationships with residents and promote independence, choice, dignity and respect by delivering high standards of care.

• Pay rate of £12.60-£13.25 per hour (increased rate for bank holidays).

• The right to live and work in the UK.
• Minimum 6 months paid employment in a care environment within the last 5 years in the UK.
• Details for two employment references within the last 5 years (one must be a care job).
• SSSC registration or commitment to register when joining our team.
• Certificate confirming practical moving and handling training in the last 12 months or willingness to book a course through us.
• Access to a smartphone to submit weekly timesheets.
• Having access to your own vehicle is desirable but not essential.
• To take Senior HCA shifts, an SVQ3 or equivalent in Health and Social Care with a medication certificate is required.
