Job Description & How to Apply Below
Position: Employee Experience and DEI Partner

We’re looking for an Employee Experience and DE&I Partner to shape and continuously improve a consistent, inclusive and high-quality employee experience across the organisation.

In this role, you will lead the design and evolution of our employee experience, engagement, inclusion and wellbeing frameworks—translating data, colleague insight and external best practice into practical, simple solutions that strengthen our culture and support our values.

You will work closely with HR Business Partners, Centres of Excellence and business leaders to enable a joined-up, insight-led approach to employee experience. Through clear frameworks, governance and guidance, you will help leaders create a great place to work—where people feel valued, included and able to perform at their best.

You will also play a key role in shaping and delivering our colleague community and giving initiatives, including Employee Led Giving (ELG), helping connect our people to the communities we serve and reinforcing our purpose in a meaningful way.

Working across the full employee lifecycle, you will ensure a consistent, inclusive and high‑engagement experience for colleagues across all locations.

What We Can Offer You
  • We offer a competitive salary and benefits which are designed to promote our employees financial wellbeing. Employees are also eligible to participate in a bonus plan.
  • Our employees enjoy a generous holiday entitlement and an opportunity to ‘buy’ or ‘sell’ some holiday entitlement.
  • Private Healthcare and Doctor@Hand (remote GP service).
  • Our employees can join a defined contribution pension plan. Employees contribute either 4% or 5% of salary, the company contributes 8% or 10% depending on the employee contribution. Employee contributions can be made through salary sacrifice.
  • Our Employee Assistance Programme offers practical, impartial support on everyday matters ranging from medical, financial and legal to home and family issues.
  • Our Life Assurance cover is a multiple of eight times your annual basic salary.
  • Product allocation so that you can enjoy our fantastic portfolio of brands.
  • Our Cycle to Work scheme allows you to hire a bike for an agreed length of time, and then snap it up for a fraction of its original value. All while making savings (at least 25%) and spreading the cost.
  • Every employee has the opportunity to claim up to £1,000 per year for a charity or charities for which they have raised money, volunteered their time or personally donated.
  • Learning resources to help you be your best self.
Main Responsibilities
  • Designing and evolving the organisation’s culture and employee experience approach, aligned to business priorities and grounded in WG&S values
  • Leading the global DE&I agenda, setting clear direction, governance, measures and accountability frameworks
  • Embedding inclusive practices across all people processes, using external benchmarks and insight to continuously improve impact
  • Developing and implementing a holistic wellbeing framework covering mental, physical, financial and social wellbeing
  • Partnering with HR and specialist teams to ensure wellbeing and experience initiatives are evidence‑based, practical and sustainable
  • Owning the global employee engagement survey and wider listening strategy, translating feedback into clear themes, priorities and measurable actions
  • Supporting HR Business Partners to deliver meaningful, business‑led engagement plans and track progress over time
  • Creating clear, compelling communications and storytelling to demonstrate actions taken, progress made and impact achieved
  • Leading and governing global family‑friendly policies, ensuring they remain inclusive, consistent, competitive and compliant with legislation
  • Driving alignment across people policies, processes and frameworks to improve the overall colleague experience and remove complexity
  • Leading delivery of key CSR pillars, including “Great Place to Work” and “Strengthen Communities”, and governing employee‑led community initiatives such as volunteering and giving programmes
  • Using data, insight and external trends to continuously evolve employee experience, engagement and inclusion outcomes
