You will have seen this Private Client team expanding significantly in recent years as the firm continues to broaden its reach across Scotland and the UK, offering clients a fully integrated service across legal, property and financial advice. For you, that means stepping into a role where the work is established, the client base is strong and the direction of travel is clearly upwards.

From the outset, you'll be trusted with a broad range of high-quality private client matters, including wills and succession planning, powers of attorney and full executry administration, often involving complex or high-value estates.

Rather than being siloed into one narrow area, you'll develop a well-rounded practice and build direct relationships with clients, positioning you early on as a trusted adviser rather than simply a technical fee-earner.

As you grow within the team, you'll take on increasing ownership of files and client relationships, supported by experienced practitioners who are invested in mentoring lawyers who want to build their careers here long term. With the department continuing to expand, there is clear scope for progression, whether that means deepening your technical expertise, developing a specialist niche or stepping into a more senior advisory role over time.

The firm actively supports professional development, including STEP qualification, and encourages solicitors to shape their own trajectory within the Private Client space. • Solicitor with 3-6 years' PQE in Private Client space
