Assembly & Test Technician

Responsibilities

• Pre-assembly of components and products according to work instructions
• Construction and configuration of customer‑specific analyzers and installation of sub‑assemblies into analyzer housings
• Installation of electronic components following ESD safety and manufacturing electrical connections
• Establishing gas connections such as tubing and piping, selecting appropriate materials and fittings to ensure secure and leak‑free installations
• Executing long‑term and temperature tests and performing performance verification of analyzers
• Creating appropriate documentation
• Preparing equipment for shipment by thoroughly inspecting and testing all components

You quickly act in fact‑changing, unexpected situations. You adjust communication content and style to help others understand business goals. You build and implement plans that prioritize accurately, finding common ground and acceptable alternatives that satisfy the needs of multiple partners. You accurately complete assignments when working with peers, supervisors, and customers to achieve company objectives.

• Adhering to health and safety laws
• Experience with mechanical and electrical assembly
• Experience with in a manufacturing environment
• Experience working from diagrams and schematics
• Problem‑solving skills
• Meeting quality standards across all areas
• IT skills, specifically Office 365

• Experience in gas analysis technology sector is an advantage
