Job SummarySouth Lanarkshire Council are recruiting for an experienced Joiner to support the delivery of various works programmes within Building Services. You will have a flexible approach to managing varied workloads as you will be required to carry out all associated Joinery tasks including refurbishment and maintenance works.
Responsibilities- Deliver all associated Joinery tasks including refurbishment and maintenance works.
- Work within various works programmes within Building Services.
- Adapt to varied workloads and meet targets and pre‑determined timescales.
- Maintain high quality workmanship and adhere to health and safety standards.
- Time-served with trade qualifications SVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds in the appropriate trade discipline.
- Demonstrable practical technical competencies in delivering high quality workmanship.
- Experience working within both commercial and domestic properties within the construction industry.
- Knowledge and experience of all types of Joinery works, especially in Public Buildings and Schools, would be advantageous.
- Commitment to customer care principles, excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
