Wage : £32,000 per annum

Company Profile

A Cumbernauld based who design and manufacture bottling and packaging equipment are looking to recruit a Workshop Machinist. The role would be using manual lathes, drilling tapping and assembly of components.

A recognised mechanical apprenticeship would be key to success in the role.

Hours:

Monday to Thursday 8.00am to 5.00pm, Friday 8.00am to 1.00pm

Overtime required when busy. Annual salary for the role is £32,000

• Manual machine tool operation (machining on lathes and mills)
• Component assembly using hand tooling and working from 2D cad drawings
• Operational experience of CNC machines (beneficial)

The successful individual will work to the highest Health & Safety and Quality standards and needs to have:

• A solid background in an assembly workshop engineering role
• A flexible and positive approach to the role
• Current valid Driving licence
• A willingness to work overtime to meet business needs
• The ability to work as part of a team
• An eagerness to learn and develop with the business

• H&S Qualifications
• Forklift License
• First Aid
