Volunteer Community Organizer

Coming Out is looking for a volunteer who wants to turn solidarity into action.

This is not a full‑time job.

This is not corporate volunteering.

This is meaningful, hands‑on community work.

• Initiate and coordinate small fundraising activities (online or offline)
• Reach out to your professional or local network and expand ours
• Support community outreach initiatives
• Act as a local connector and idea generator

You don’t need years of experience or a fundraising background.

We’re looking for initiative, communication skills, responsibility, and care.

• Hands‑on experience inside an LGBTQ+ human rights NGO
• Practical understanding of fundraising strategy and community organising
• Direct collaboration with an experienced advocacy team
• Opportunity to develop leadership and project ownership skills
• Strong addition to your CV in nonprofit, social impact, or CSR fields
• A real contribution to civil society and human rights

You’ll see how nonprofit work actually functions from the inside — how communities are built, how campaigns are shaped, how support turns into impact.

We stay in close contact, provide guidance and materials, and treat volunteers as collaborators — not assistants. It’s a shared process, not a top‑down task list.
