Practice Nurse; Part Time

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Practice Nurse to join our healthcare team, working 16 hours per week, alongside our Practice Nurse Prescriber.

The ideal candidate will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care, assisting with various clinical tasks, and ensuring the smooth operation of the practice. This position requires a commitment to delivering exceptional care to patients in a supportive environment.

• Deliver patient care by performing clinical assessments and procedures as required including cervical cytology.
• Assist in the management of chronic diseases and promote preventative health measures.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualised care plans.
• Educate patients on health management, medication usage, and lifestyle changes.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the practice setting.
• Participate in continuous professional development to enhance skills and knowledge.

• Proven experience in a nursing role, preferably within a primary care or community setting.
• Strong knowledge of women's health and chronic diseases, with the ability to apply this knowledge in clinical practice.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with an emphasis on patient interaction.
• Ability to work effectively within a team while also demonstrating independence when required.
• A commitment to providing high-quality patient care with empathy and professionalism.
