Quality Control Inspector - Permanent - Cumbernauld

Roles & Responsibilities- Use precision measuring instruments such as micrometers and calipers to take accurate measurements
- Collect and analyze data to identify trends or issues in product quality
- Document inspection results and maintain accurate records
- Collaborate with production teams to address quality concerns and implement corrective actions
- Conduct visual inspections to identify any defects or non‑conformities
- Follow established procedures and protocols for quality control processes
- Online label inspection for all PSL and Litho machines
- Follow standard operating procedures for testing of labels
- Assist within the department to ensure quality standards are maintained and developed to meet ongoing demands from customers
- Work with functional departments/personnel to maintain and improve quality and assist in identifying improvements
- Previous experience as a Quality Control Inspector or in a similar role preferred
- Strong attention to detail and ability to identify defects or non‑conformities
- Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal
- Familiarity with quality control standards and procedures
Please note, this role will involve a three shift rotation, working 36 hours per week.
