Your RoleWe are seeking a motivated and results‑driven B2B Business Development Representative (BDR) to join our dynamic sales team. The BDR will play a critical role in driving revenue growth by generating and qualifying leads, setting appointments, and initiating the early stages of the sales process.
Things You Get To Do- Lead Generation: Identify and generate new business opportunities through outbound prospecting, including cold calling, list building, emailing, and social media outreach.
- Qualification: Qualify outbound leads to determine their fit and potential as sales opportunities.
- Appointment Setting: Schedule qualified appointments and demos for the sales team to further engage potential clients.
- Sales Support: Assist the AEs where needed, owning tasks assigned to you, including follow‑ups and custom pieces of collateral.
- Revenue Operations: Maintain accurate records of all lead interactions and activities in the CRM system and look to improve processes to help the wider team where possible.
- Market Research and Horizon Scanning: Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and potential opportunities.
- Bachelor’s degree in a Business or STEM‑related field preferred.
- Previous sales experience in a BDR role (1‑3 years), preferably in software or financial services sales.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Bilingual – you can speak English and French fluently or at an advanced level.
- Strong organizational skills and work ethic.
- You are able to travel in the EU.
- You have high agency and responsibility, and are able to context‑switch rapidly.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- You have worked at a startup or are used to fast‑paced industries.
- Understanding of the brokerage and financial services industries.
- You may speak additional European languages.
- FINRA Series 7 or AMF certification.
