What we’re looking for…The LBDM is responsible for delivering AG Barr business growth across ‘all defined’ outlet types within a designated geographical area (The portfolio).
There are various LBDM roles across the business which cover Grocery Multiples, Out of Home, Symbols & Independents (Convenience), and Wholesale (Bestway).
This advert invites applications from candidates interested in either or both vacancies.
The LBDMs will form part of the overall customer teams looking after specific customers (with varying degrees of frequency) - and are responsible for delivering influence at the point of purchase through AVDV - Availability, Visibility, Display, and £Value (the overall sales value varies by sector and location).
The teams are managed through a National Sales Team operation which operates as part of Business Field Sales- but syndicates the resource across every sector of the business and various business units - the team's objective is to optimise our sales position, drive competitive advantage for AG Barr brands and grow the business.
Your responsibilities will include...- Health Safety and Wellbeing - This is the number one priority at AG Barr and all employees are expected to be committed to this as a core part of the AG Barr culture.
- Sales KPI delivery – This will vary by team including but not limited to;
Invoice revenue, new accounts opened, new distribution points gained in existing business, promotional sales, range, and promotional compliance, driving focus four and any specific SKUs requested by the business, presence, POS placement, and management, display, availability, EPOS sales growth, and market share growth. - Brand Plan Activation - Selling of the brand plans at a local level, ensuring the marketing message is relayed to both retailers and consumers and the KPI’s are achieved.
- Relationship development that builds long-term benefits for AG Barr. This will include but is not limited to - Store contacts, depot contacts, and regional managers who are key sales influencers within the portfolio.
- Insights Feedback - Communication internally of activity and intelligence of relevant customer and competitor plans.
- Hardware Placement - Agreeing the placement of any cold equipment aligned to the sign-off process and ensuring compliance principles, and relevant ROI are achieved.
- Sales Drives - Participating in targeted activity drives (by region/sector) behind either ATL activities, regional opportunities (Project work, Carnivals, etc), or strategic opportunities (Schools, discounts, S&I, Out of Home, etc).
- Training, Learning & Development - A positive and committed approach to learning and development, to build both personal and team capability in order to deliver the best performance and service to both internal and external customers day in and day out.
- Teamwork - Work with peers and senior colleagues to help build knowledge through one-to-one in-store and/or at team meetings.
- Proven track record of achieving KPIs and the ambition to scale new heights
- A positive, "can-do" attitude with a clear ambition to succeed
- Educated to degree standard or equivalent years experience in Field Sales
- Exceptional communication skills
- A "team-first" mentality, balanced with strong personal leadership
- The discipline to work unsupervised and manage your own territory effectively.
