Overview

Class 1 HGV / LGV (C+E) Driver

We are looking to recruit experienced qualified Class 1 HGV / LGV (C+E) drivers who will be based at our distribution centre in Cumbernauld, North Lanarkshire.

We offer a permanent full time position and have a variety of shift patterns available which usually includes at least one weekend day. We may also have some part time work available.

• Complete delivery drops to shops.
• Unload palletised goods from the vehicle using a powered pallet truck and tail lift.
• Collect waste and other items from the shop to return to the depot.
• Conduct daily vehicle checks.
• Have a safe and efficient approach to driving.

• Full UK driving licence (with C+E entitlement).
• Minimum 6 months experience driving class 1 vehicle.
• Digital tachograph & CPC card.
• No greater than 6 points on your driving licence with no dangerous driving or drink-related endorsements.
• A friendly, positive, hardworking approach to work.

• Hours:
  
  45 hours per week, early starts between 1am-6am, 5 on 3 off pattern.
• Pay: £17.52 per hour; overtime regularly available.
• 6 weeks holiday; 15% staff discount; staff benefits package and more.
• Permanent full-time position with various shift patterns (may include weekends); some part-time work may be available.
